Adelzhausen shines: Advent exhibition with colorful children's competition!

The anticipation of the contemplative Advent season is growing, and a special highlight is coming up in Adelzhausen. On Sunday, November 30, 2025, the community will open the Adelzhauser Advent exhibition in the community center. Here, numerous artistic nativity scenes are displayed in the windows of the house, which are illuminated daily at 4 p.m.

A central element of the exhibition is a painting and craft competition for the students of the Adelzhausen elementary school. The theme of the competition was “Gifts under the Christmas Tree” and the artworks will be presented as part of the Advent exhibition. A total of 20 creative works were submitted for visitors to rate. Guests can look forward to a colorful potpourri of artistic representations.

Prize winners of the competition

The participants were able to demonstrate their skills at the competition awards ceremony. The award ceremony took place in a celebratory atmosphere and was attended by the mayorLorenz Braun, his deputyPeter Haug, as well as the school principalGudrun Danieland vice-principalHannah Trummercarried out.

Visitors are invited to select their three favorite images while recognizing the students' creative talents. The participation cards for the competition are available at the entrance to the community center.

Creativity in Advent
