Last chance: Special exhibitions in the International Ceramics Museum

The International Ceramics Museum in Weiden invites those interested in art and culture to enjoy the last days of the special exhibitions. Until September 1st, visitors have the opportunity to explore the fascinating exhibitions “Elina Märtin – Two-Sidedness” and “Porcelain from China – The Seltmann Collection”. These exhibitions offer a unique insight into the world of ceramics and its diverse design possibilities.

What is particularly exciting is the opportunity to view the newly modernized exhibition rooms on the upper floor. Here guests can discover four new exhibition contributions from the Munich State Museums. These include impressive ceramics from the Antiquities Collections, the State Archaeological Collection and the Five Continents Museum. From August 29th, the ceramics from the Museum of Egyptian Art in Weiden will also be on display again, even if the work has not yet been completely completed.

Important information for visitors

An important note for everyone who would like to visit the museum: From September 2nd to September 30th, the International Ceramics Museum will be closed due to a company holiday. During this time, work will continue behind the scenes on the new exhibitions and the modernization of the premises. From October 1st, the museum will be open again as usual and visitors can fully experience the new attractions.
