The city of Waldershof has announced an information event on mobile communications in Poppenreuth. This will take place on September 11, 2024 at 7 p.m. in the “Grüner Baum” inn. The event is aimed at all interested citizens who would like to find out more about the planned developments surrounding a new mobile phone mast.
It is particularly important that citizens have the opportunity to ask their questions directly to experts. Telekom's municipal manager will be present to explain the technical aspects of the cell tower. In addition, an expert from the State Office for the Environment will be available to provide information about the effects of mobile phone radiation. These experts, together with the First Mayor Margit Bayer, will take citizens' concerns seriously and answer all questions.
What can participants expect?
The event will begin with a lecture covering the basics of cellular technology and the associated radiation aspects.
