District AdministratorRoland Grillmeierand Tirschenreuth's mayorFranz Stahlvisited the Netzsch company. They were accompanied by district developersAnton KunzandLinda Wunderlichfrom economic development. Netzsch was recently named one of the “Bavaria’s Best 50” companies. The visit offers the opportunity to get to know the company's investments in the Tirschenreuth location. The Netzsch Group is investing over ten million euros in modernization and automation. This means the location remains competitive and future-proof in the long term.
Appreciation of investments
“We are very grateful to the companies for these investments and the clear commitment to the location in our district and are proud to have a hidden champion like Netzsch here,” says District Administrator Grillmeier during the tour with the plant managerRobert Meissnerand his colleagueMartin Werner. Netzsch employs around 4,600 people in 36 countries worldwide. 110 employees currently work at the Tirschenreuth location. These produce assemblies for machines in the “grinding & dispersing” sector for Europe and partly worldwide.
Outlook for the future
Grillmeier and Stahl are impressed by the automated processes and the modern environment. “Such investments make Tirschenreuth fit for the future and are a benefit for our region,” saidFranz Stahl. The Netzsch Group is planning further modernizations in the coming years. These are intended to enable even more efficient production and sustainably strengthen the attractiveness of the location. Finally, both Grillmeier and Stahl praise and thank those responsible: "The investments confirm the Netzsch Group's clear commitment to the Tirschenreuth location and the close connection to the region.
