IKom Stiftland has announced an exciting event for all fruit lovers and nature lovers. On Saturday, September 7th, 2024, at 1:30 p.m., there will be an informative tour of the district teaching garden. This event offers an excellent opportunity to learn more about the fascinating world of orchards.
Orchards are not only an important part of our cultural landscape, but also a habitat for many animals and plants. During the tour, participants are explained why these meadows are so important and how they contribute to biodiversity. Visitors can look forward to an educational experience suitable for both adults and children.
What can participants expect?
During the tour, participants learn how to properly pick and process fruit. This is particularly useful for anyone who would like to grow or process fruit themselves. At the end of the event, participants will have the opportunity to taste different types of fruit and even press their own juice. This makes the event not only informative, but also interactive and entertaining.
