Ecological green space maintenance: New course in Amstetten starts in April
A new course on ecological maintenance of green spaces will be launched in the Amstetten region in April 2023. This course is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in the care and preservation of public green spaces. The importance of natural meadows, shade trees and infiltration areas is becoming increasingly clear, especially in the context of climate change. These green spaces are not only beautiful to look at, but also crucial for adapting to changing climatic conditions.
The course, which is organized in collaboration between “Nature in the Garden” and the Amstetten Climate Change Adaptation Model Region (KLAR!), offers comprehensive basic training. Over a period of ten days, the participants will be trained in the garden academy at Seitenstetten Abbey. The first course days have already been set and registration is possible until February 28, 2023.
Who can participate?
This course is aimed primarily at municipal employees and volunteers who take care of the maintenance of public green spaces. But private individuals and professionals who work in the area of green space maintenance are also warmly invited to register. The aim is to impart a broad knowledge of the ecological maintenance of green spaces in order to promote biodiversity and increase the quality of life in communities.
