In April 2024, work will begin on the development of the “Brunnäcker II” development area in the Teublitz district of Münchshofen. From October 28th to October 31st, 2024 there will be a road closure at the intersection of Brunnenstrasse and Spitzwegstrasse. This measure is necessary in order to connect the water pipes to the existing network.
Increase security of supply
In order to achieve the highest possible security of supply for citizens, in addition to integrating the water pipe from the construction area, previously separate water pipe sections will also be linked - a so-called ring connection. This is intended to ensure that certain residential areas can continue to be supplied from the rear in the event of a pipe burst.
The closure of the intersection of Brunnenstrasse and Spitzwegstrasse will take about a week. Residents and road users are asked to understand this necessary measure.
