Commemoration of Remembrance Day: Invitation to the celebration in Schwarzenfeld
On Sunday, November 17, 2024, we celebrate Remembrance Day in memory of the victims of war, violence and displacement. This year, the dead of the world wars and the victims of violence will once again be remembered in a dignified manner.
Memorial and church services
After the service, which begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Catholic parish church, the memorial service with wreath-laying at the cenotaph will take place at around 9:15 a.m. In the Gospel The service follows the memorial service at Christ Church at around 9:30 a.m.
Call for participation
The population as well as all associations, clubs and organizations in the market are invited to take part to show their solidarity with the dead of the world wars and the injustices of today. The clubs are asked to take part in the ceremony with their flag delegations. The clubs will line up at 8:15 a.m. at St. Mary's Church.
