A remarkable milestone was celebrated in the Schwarzenfeld administrative community: Kathrin Schwarz, the managing director, looks back on 25 years of dedicated service. This honor took place in September, when the mayors of Schwarzenfeld, Stulln and Schwarzach b. Nabburg gathered to express their appreciation. Schwarz, who began her career on September 1, 1999 as the first trainee after a long break, has developed into a central figure in the administration over the years.
Kathrin Schwarz's career began in the building department, where she quickly rose through the ranks and qualified as a trainer. In 2014 she was appointed deputy manager and took over as manager three years later. Her statement that “no two days are the same” reflects the dynamics and challenges associated with her role. Mayor Peter Neumeier presented her with a certificate, flowers and a present during the celebration to honor her tireless efforts.
Digital transformation and recognition
A particularly notable aspect of Schwarz’s work is her contribution to the digital transformation of administration. Under her leadership, VG Schwarzenfeld has made significant progress and was recently awarded the “Digital Office” seal by the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs. This shows that the administration has not only been modernized, but is also considered a pioneer in the region.
In their speeches, the mayors highlighted Kathrin Schwarz's skills and commitment. Hans Prechtl from Stulln emphasized her reliability and the high reputation she enjoys among the mayors and committees. Franz Grabinger from Schwarzach praised the continuity and comprehensive knowledge that Schwarz brings to the administration. He expressed optimism about the future of the administration under her leadership and the committed team that is pulling together.
