40 years of service: Andrea Lautenschlager is honored in the town hall
A very special event was celebrated in the town hall of Maxhütte-Haidhof this week: Andrea Lautenschlager, a long-time employee of the building authority, looks back on 40 years of service to the city administration. At a small celebration, the First Mayor Rudolf Seidl presented her with a certificate of gratitude and a magnificent bouquet of flowers to honor her services.
In his speech, Seidl recalled the beginnings of Lautenschlager's career. “You began your training as an administrative assistant on September 1, 1984, at a time when the city administration was still structured very differently,” he explained. During her training, Lautenschlager worked through all departments of the city administration before finally moving to construction administration, where she still works today.
A look at the career
After the birth of her daughter in August 1990, Lautenschlager took a break to raise her children, but soon returned to the town hall. “During your time here, you worked with four different mayors and are the heart of the construction administration,” praised Seidl. He emphasized that Lautenschlager knew the city area like the back of his hand and had always advocated for the interests of the citizens.
Katharina Bauer, member of the staff council, joined in the congratulations and said: "Andrea, you are a constant in our town hall. Without you, the building authority would not be what it is today." Her words reflect the esteem that Lautenschlager enjoys in the administration.
Finally, managing director Karl-Peter Würstl also said: "In these 40 years, you have acquired impressive specialist knowledge and are a role model for all employees. We hope that you will stay with us for a long time to come!"
