Sünching School Association: Meeting on the future of the primary school on September 24th!

On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, an important meeting of the Sünching School Association will take place in the meeting room of the Sünching administrative community. Starts at 2:00 p.m. There are several items on the agenda, including the report on the 2024 annual financial statements and the budget for 2025. All-day care is also discussed.

This meeting was announced on September 11, 2025, chaired by association chairman Robert Spindler. In addition to the public part, there are also non-public points that will be discussed.

Budget presentation and school development

Treasurer Christian Blümel presented the school association's budget for the Sünching elementary school. The school has a total of 128 students. The administrative budget amounts to 488,495 euros, while the asset budget amounts to 32,000 euros. The administrative fee per association student is 2,712.73 euros.

Investments are planned for 2025, which include, among other things, the redesign of the school's facades. The project includes painting over the logo and adding the words “Sünching Elementary School”. 32,000 euros in grants have already been received for a renovation. The school association remains debt-free and expects reserves of 131,825 euros at the end of the financial year.

Reports on the audits of the annual accounts for 2020, 2021 and 2022 were also presented at the meeting, after which discharge was granted. Spindler also reported on a funding program for energy coaching that is intended to support the use of the PV system in the school gymnasium.

Personnel changes and infrastructure

The school association is also facing personnel changes: Principal Andrea Proske will be leaving the primary school and her successor will be Martina Hahne. School secretary Anneliese Handl also retired on July 1st; the new secretary, Christina Renner, will take over her position in the coming school year.

Another project concerns the limited space, as a rented garage is being cleared to create space for the storage of playground equipment and vehicles.

In the context of the financial situation in education, the Federal Statistical Office points out that an education financial report has been produced annually since 2008, which summarizes the expenditure on education. The report shows current developments and expenditures in educational institutions and serves as a basis for future financial planning. Such information is particularly relevant in light of the budget figures currently presented and the planned investments.

The coming weeks promise both challenges and opportunities for the Sünching school association and the school community there. Decisions made on September 24, 2025 could have far-reaching effects on the future development of the elementary school.
