Announcement on the change to the development plan "Lorenzen West, Part III" in Lappersdorf: inspection and comments until March 13, 2026.

Important change in plan: Only one apartment building in Lorenzen West!

On January 31, 2026, the announcement of the first amendment to the development plan “Lorenzen West, Part III” was published. On May 6, 2025, the market town council decided to enforce the Building Code (BauGB) with regard to the preparation of the development plan in order to meet changing housing needs. This step follows the meeting of the construction and procurement committee on December 15, 2025, in which the draft development plan was approved, as reported by lappersdorf.de.

The scope of the change extends to field numbers 944/154 and 944/155 in the Hainsacker district. The plan originally called for the construction of three apartment buildings on land number 944/154 and another apartment building on 944/155. However, given the lack of demand for multi-family housing, this plan was adjusted. Now only one parcel of land is earmarked for an apartment building, while the rest of the area will be used for single-family homes.

Detailed information about planning

The change area covers an area of approximately 3,483 m², which is below the threshold size of 20,000 m². The procedure is carried out as a development plan for internal development in an accelerated procedure, without the need for an environmental assessment. According to the documents reviewed, there is no evidence of impairment of the protected assets in accordance with Section 1 Paragraph 6 No. 7 Letter b BauGB.

The draft documents for the development plan will be available for inspection both on the Internet and in the town hall from February 9, 2026 to March 13, 2026. Interested citizens can send their suggestions electronically to Kathrin Riederer's email address (kathrin.riederer@lappersdorf.de). However, it is important to note that timely comments are relevant for subsequent decision-making; Late objections could be ignored.
