The story begins when the police come to the Punch and Judy show. Punch and Judy should come to the king immediately. His grandmother is very excited. She checks to see if Punch has blown his nose and washed his throat. In the royal castle, Punch and Judy receives a wonderful Christmas present. But on the way home he meets the robber Bommel, who steals the gift.
