BRK starts door-to-door advertising: Support our local helpers!
The Bavarian Red Cross (BRK) is recruiting for support and new supporting members. The campaign starts on Monday, November 4th, 2024 and is expected to run until mid-December. The aim is to address people in the western district of Regensburg. These include places like Sinzing, Nittendorf, Hemau and Kallmünz.
Door-to-door advertising for new members
The Red Cross members need the support of the population. Supporting members are important for the voluntary work of the BRK. Through financial contributions, the BRK can provide necessary equipment and materials. These serve to protect the population and help society. Volunteer helpers provide their services during major events, evacuations and floods.
The advertisers wear Red Cross clothing and are authorized by the BRK. You can identify yourself but do not collect cash. If you have any questions about the campaign, you can contact the service center of the Regensburg BRK. The telephone number is 0941 29 76 00.
Commitment of the BRK
This year the BRK celebrated its anniversary “150 years of the Red Cross Regensburg”. Various events were organized for the population. “Something should be given back for the reliable support and the shared teamwork with each other,” says the press release.
The Bavarian Red Cross saves people, helps in emergencies and offers a community. The BRK employs over 1,300 people in the city and district of Regensburg. Around 2,500 helpers are active on a voluntary basis. Your mission is to help people.
