Autumn leaves are mandatory: the city of Hemau reminds us of the cleanliness regulations

Now in autumn there is increased leaf fall. In this context, the Hemau city administration points out compliance with the cleanliness regulations. Citizens are asked to promptly remove leaves from sidewalks and cycle paths, otherwise there is an increased risk of accidents (danger of slipping). In addition, the drainage channels and sewer inlet shafts must be kept clear so that rainwater can flow unhindered into the drainage system.

Another note: Hedges, branches and bushes that protrude into the street space may be cut back more intensively or planted between October 1st and February 28th (see Section 39 No. 5 Para. 2 BNatSchG).
