Important decisions in the Deuerling local council on November 11th!
A meeting of the local council will take place on November 11, 2025 in the multi-purpose room of the Deuerling elementary school. The meeting, which begins at 7:00 p.m., has an extensive agenda that includes, among other things, the approval of building applications and the presentation of building projects. There will also be a citizens' consultation time on the agenda to give citizens the opportunity to present their concerns directly. The municipality of Deuerling reports this on its website.
It should also be emphasized that the agenda also includes the approval documents for a cooperative all-day facility. In particular, floor plans, sections and elevations as well as kitchen planning and the pedagogical framework concept are discussed. Furthermore, the Steinerbrückl development plan sketch will be discussed, which will include relevant sketches. Finally, measures to plan a retention basin in Heimberg/Bach are also on the agenda.
Construction projects and fee regulations
The meeting will also deal with a variety of planning applications. Current information shows that the building application for the extension of the attic at Lusenstrasse 1 does not receive community approval, while an exemption from the development plan for the stainless steel fence at Lusenstrasse 40 is granted. Construction planning is also a central topic in Deuerling, as the Tagesfunk editorial team emphasizes.
Another point at the meeting deals with the adjustment of the cemetery fee statutes, in which proportionate reimbursements of grave fees are to be decided after the rest period has been fulfilled. This revised version of the fee regulations is expected to be adopted in November 2025. In addition, the new assessment rate for property tax A and B remains unchanged at 280.
Heat planning in Deuerling
An important topic that will also be discussed is municipal heat planning. This has been the responsibility of the municipalities since 2023, although Deuerling plans to work with engineering offices in the near future. Municipalities must draw up heat plans by June 30, 2028 in order to convert heat supply to renewable energies. This represents a decisive step towards climate neutrality by 2045, as the German Energy Agency (dena) explains.
The Competence Center for Municipal Heat Transition (KWW) supports municipalities in Germany with orientation and know-how. The current status of municipal heat planning is mainly divided into three categories: completed, in process and unknown status. While large and medium-sized municipalities have often already started planning, smaller municipalities such as Deuerling are also becoming increasingly involved in this area.
The public meeting will be followed by a non-public meeting of the local council in which various points will be discussed, including the appointment of the election manager for the 2026 local elections. This information was published by Diethard Eichhammer, First Mayor of Deuerling, on November 3, 2025.
