The compost sites in the Regensburg district close seasonally. From December 9, 2024, the compost sites will be inBeratzhausenandRegenstaufas well as the green waste storage area inPollen Riedno longer accessible to the public. The last time deliveries can be made is on Saturday, December 7th, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Important information about delivery
For larger, especially commercial deliveries from December 9, 2024, timely registration with the Regensburg district is required. The telephone number for this is 0941/4009-363. This regulation also applies to Christmas tree collection campaigns by communities and organizations. Small quantities of green waste and woody waste can still be disposed of in the green waste containers at the recycling centers.
Christmas tree opening hours
On Saturday, January 11, 2025, the compost sites will be inBeratzhausenandRegenstaufas well as the green waste storage area inPollen Riedopen from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. On this day, natural Christmas trees and Advent wreaths can be delivered without Christmas decorations, paint and snow spray, wires and tinsel. The delivery of compostable green waste is also possible on this day, as is the purchase of compost.
From March 1, 2025, the compost sites can be used again during the usual opening hours.
