The local administration has launched a new funding program that is specifically intended for plug-in photovoltaic systems. They can generate up to 450 kWh of electricity per year, which not only reduces electricity costs but also reduces dependence on fossil fuels. At its meeting on May 10, 2023, the local council decided to support this environmentally friendly technology in order to make it easier for citizens to get started with solar energy.
Funding details
The funding amounts to 10% of the acquisition costs, with private households able to receive a maximum of 150 euros. In order to be eligible for funding, the systems must comply with the valid VDE standards. These standards ensure that the systems work safely and efficiently. A plug-in photovoltaic system usually consists of one or more solar modules and an inverter that converts the direct current generated into usable alternating current.
The inverter is simply connected to the power grid via a Schuko or Wieland plug, which makes installation particularly uncomplicated. This allows households to reduce their electricity consumption from the grid while using environmentally friendly electricity.

It is important that the application is submitted in writing and together with the published application form. In addition, the application must be submitted before installation of the photovoltaic system begins. After submitting the complete application, installation can begin.
