The bank path, which extends between Windischeschenbach and the log cabin, will be closed from August 28th to September 6th, 2024. This measure is necessary to carry out wood harvesting activities that are associated with an acute bark beetle infestation.

Bark beetles are small insects that nest in trees and damage them. In this case, the forested eastern slopes of the Waldnaab are affected, where many trees are already dying.
