A conscious approach to our environment is not just an issue for the “big ones”. Checker Tobi also conveys important connections to a younger audience. His new film “Journey to Flying Rivers” shows how our consumption of meat and soy affects the rainforest in Brazil.
Great interest in the Kinokids event
The Kinokids event took place on October 17th. Around 50 fans, young and old, were excited. Many people were amazed that people in Vietnam build their houses on the water. The sloths are not lazy either, just slow because they only eat plants. What is terrible is the fact that children in Ulan Bator, the capital of Mongolia, cannot simply play outside. There is the highest air pollution in the world in winter.
As part of this year's Neumarkt Sustainability Weeks, the Neumarkt multi-generational house showed this film. The final request to everyone is to take care of our environment. Small things, like turning off the lights or turning off the water, also contribute to the bigger picture.
