Honorary evening in Weiding: piano sounds and awards for talent

A very special evening recently took place in the small community of Weiding to honor the best students and graduates. This event has now developed into a permanent tradition in which not only academic achievements are honored, but also young musical talents take the stage. The guests were able to enjoy impressive piano performances, which provided a musical backdrop to the evening. Stella Dischner and Till Scherner, two talented young pianists, created a festive atmosphere with their performances.

Stella Dischner opened the celebrations with the German folk song “Bald gras ich am Neckar”, followed by another highlight: a piece by Beethoven, which thrilled those present. The sounds of the piano created a welcoming atmosphere that perfectly complemented the students' honor. The three mayors of the community, Daniel Paul, Alwin Schmelzinger and Christian Spindler, were also present and beamed with joy at the achievements of the young talents.

Appreciation of achievements

In his speech, Mayor Daniel Paul emphasized the importance of hard work and determination, which led the students to their excellent degrees. “You had to sit down and study,” he emphasized, reminding those present that grades aren’t everything. A person's character and demeanor are also crucial to being successful in life. Paul encouraged the young graduates to get actively involved in the community's club life and to take on responsibility in order to strengthen the community.

The award itself was a celebratory moment in which each of the winning students was recognized with a gift certificate and much applause. The list of honorees included numerous talents who shone in various areas, be it in school or in professional training. The community representatives sent the graduates congratulations for a successful future and an accident-free professional life.

After the official award, there was the opportunity for personal discussions in which the young people shared their plans for the future. Over a small snack and drinks in the meeting room of the town hall, they were able to exchange ideas with classmates, parents and community representatives. The musical conclusion of the evening was another piano piece by Till Scherner, which put the guests in a relaxed mood.

The event was not only an honor, but also a sign of the community's solidarity and appreciation of the achievements of its young citizens. The musical interludes and the warm words of the mayor made the evening an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
