The city of Roding warmly welcomes four new trainees

In the city of Roding there was recently a celebratory reception for four new trainees who are starting their professional careers in local administration. First mayor Alexandra Riedl, together with managing director Josef Kaml and human resources officers Florian Hierl and Liane Pusl, warmly welcomed the young talents. The new trainees are Sophia Herbst and Marika Zinkl, who began their three-year training as administrative assistants on September 1st. Alexander Heigl and John-Leon Hildebrand are trained as road guards in the city building yard, also for three years.

To welcome them, the trainees received small gifts that symbolized the start of their new professional future. The training to become an administrative assistant covers various areas of internal administration and is particularly important for the efficient organization of municipal services. Road wardens, on the other hand, are responsible for the maintenance and care of roads and paths, which is of great importance for the safety and mobility of citizens.

Successful completions and new responsibilities

Another highlight of the event was the congratulations to Lucia Blend, who completed her training as an administrative assistant with excellent results. She is part of the 2021/2024 training class and will now work as a clerk in construction administration. In recognition of her achievements, she received a gift and a flower greeting, which acknowledged her successes.

An important step for the training management was also announced: Florian Hierl was appointed as the new training manager for the city of Roding. He brings many years of experience with him, having been employed by the city since 1997 and taking over human resources administration in 2022. After successfully passing his trainer aptitude test in spring 2024, he is now undergoing further training to become a human resources specialist.

The previous training manager, Liane Pusl, was honored for her more than ten years of service. Under her leadership, a total of 13 young people were trained in various occupations, including administrative assistants and road guards. Their work has helped to position the city of Roding as an attractive employer, which currently employs around 100 people, including seven trainees.
