Municipality of Arrach: New car sharing and instrument path in the Seepark
The municipality of Arrach recently announced an important partnership meeting of the cross-border municipal alliance “Künisches Gebirge”. This event will take place on Thursday, August 22, 2024, in the picturesque Seepark Arrach. The event aims to strengthen cooperation between the communities involved and promote joint projects.
The meeting will provide a platform to exchange ideas and plan future initiatives. The organizers expect active participation from representatives of the participating communities who would like to exchange views on various topics. The Seepark, known for its idyllic location, is chosen as the venue to offer participants a pleasant atmosphere.
Expansion of the car sharing offer
Another important issue in the municipality of Arrach is the extension of the car sharing program. The municipality is calling on citizens to secure advertising space to support the maintenance of the car sharing location. This environmentally friendly mobility concept allows residents to use vehicles as needed, which not only saves costs but also helps reduce traffic volumes.
Car sharing prices have also been updated. New tariffs will apply for 2023 that offer transparent pricing. Using a minibus costs 6.90 euros per hour, while 24-hour use costs 59.90 euros. In addition, 300 kilometers are free per booking, which is attractive for many users.
Another highlight is the renovation of the bridge in the Seepark, which represents an important connection for walkers and visitors. This bridge, which crosses the White Rain, has been renovated in recent weeks to ensure pedestrian safety. The renewal of the larch wood flooring was carried out by the municipal building yard and cost around 2,000 euros.
In addition, a new instrument trail was opened in the Seepark, inviting visitors to discover music. There are 25 boards set up on a one and a half kilometer circular route that provide information about various musical instruments. QR codes on the boards allow visitors to watch videos of music teachers introducing their instruments. This initiative aims to inspire both children and adults to learn a musical instrument.
With these projects, the municipality of Arrach shows its commitment to sustainable development and the promotion of education and culture. Citizens are invited to actively participate in the events and programs to further strengthen the community.
