On Thursday, August 22, 2024, a partnership meeting of the cross-border community alliance “Künisches Gebirge” will take place in the picturesque Seepark Arrach. Expansion of the car sharing offer

The municipality of Arrach has taken the initiative to offer citizens the opportunity to promote environmentally friendly mobility. Interested companies can now secure advertising space to support the maintenance of the car sharing location. This is a step towards sustainable transport solutions that benefit both residents and visitors.

The new prices for the car sharing offer have also been published. For a diesel-powered minibus that can accommodate up to nine people, the one-off registration fee is 0.00 euros. The cost per hour is 6.90 euros, while 24-hour use costs 59.90 euros. In addition, 300 kilometers are free per booking, and each additional kilometer costs 0.15 euros.

Renovation of the bridge in the Seepark

Another significant project is the renovation of the bridge in the lake park, which represents an important connection between the parking lot on State Route 2138 and the recreational area. This bridge, which has been heavily used since its completion in 1998, recently received new larch wood flooring. The renovation was carried out by the municipal building yard itself and cost around 2,000 euros. The new strips made of rough gritting material ensure slip resistance, which is particularly important in the winter months.
