Municipality of Arrach: New bridge and instrument path for a better quality of life
The community of Arrach is preparing for an important event: the partnership meeting of the cross-border community alliance “Künisches Gebirge”. This meeting will take place on Thursday, August 22, 2024, in the picturesque Seepark Arrach. The event promises to provide a platform for exchange and collaboration between the communities involved.
The cross-border alliance aims to promote cooperation in the region and develop joint projects. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas about current topics and discuss new ideas. The lake park, known for its natural beauty, offers the ideal setting for such a meeting.
Expansion of the car sharing offer
Another important issue in the community is the extension of the car sharing program. The municipality of Arrach has decided to continue the car sharing initiative to promote environmentally friendly mobility. Citizens and visitors have the opportunity to secure advertising space to support the maintenance of the car sharing location. This is a great opportunity for local businesses to get involved while contributing to sustainability.
Car sharing prices have also been updated. New tariffs will apply for 2023, which represent a cost-effective mobility solution for residents. The prices are transparent and offer an attractive option for everyone who wants to travel flexibly and environmentally consciously.
Another highlight is the renovation of the bridge in the Seepark, which represents an important connection for pedestrians. This bridge, which crosses the White Rain, has been renovated in recent weeks to ensure the safety of visitors. The new floor covering made of larch wood not only ensures an attractive look, but also ensures that it is non-slip, especially in the winter months.
The community has also opened a new instrument trail in the Seepark, offering music lovers the opportunity to learn about different instruments. There are 25 boards set up on a one and a half kilometer circular route that provide information about the instruments. QR codes allow visitors to watch videos introducing the respective instrumental teachers. This is an innovative way to promote music and stimulate interest in musical instruments.
In addition, new safety jackets were provided for the student guides in Haibühl to increase the safety of the children on the way to school. These jackets, sponsored by Bayernwerk Netz GmbH, are eye-catching and ensure that the student pilots are clearly visible in any weather.
With these initiatives, the municipality of Arrach shows its commitment to the safety and well-being of its citizens. The combination of cultural, social and environmentally friendly projects makes Arrach a place worth living in for everyone.
