Arrach: New instrument path in the Seepark delights young and old
The community of Arrach is preparing for an exciting event: On Thursday, August 22, 2024, a partnership meeting of the cross-border community alliance “Künisches Gebirge” will take place in the picturesque Seepark Arrach. This event promises to be a significant step in cooperation between the communities involved and will attract numerous representatives from the region.
The meeting will not only provide a platform for exchanging ideas and experiences, but also the opportunity to plan future projects and strengthen collaboration. The organizers expect lively participation as the topics on the agenda are of great interest to everyone involved.
Expansion of the car sharing offer
Another important issue in the municipality of Arrach is the extension of the car sharing program. The community calls on everyone interested to secure advertising space to support the maintenance of the car sharing location. This initiative aims to promote environmentally friendly mobility and provide residents with a flexible transportation option.
Car sharing prices have also been updated. For 2023, users will be able to rent a minibus with space for up to nine people. The costs are transparent: There is no registration fee and rental prices start at 6.90 euros per hour. A 24-hour rental costs 59.90 euros, with 300 kilometers per booking being free. A fee of 0.15 euros is charged for each additional kilometer.
In addition, the bridge in Seepark Arrach was renovated. This bridge, which is an important connection between the parking lot on State Road 2138 and the lake park, was severely affected by weather. The renewal of the larch wood flooring now ensures more safety and an attractive appearance. The costs for this measure amount to around 2,000 euros.
Another highlight is the new instrument trail in the Seepark, which has 25 panels over a distance of one and a half kilometers. This path is intended to encourage both children and adults to learn a musical instrument. The boards are equipped with QR codes that lead to short videos in which music teachers introduce their instruments. This is an innovative way to combine music and movement and promote interest in music education.
With these initiatives, the municipality of Arrach shows that it is actively working to improve the quality of life of its citizens and at the same time promotes cultural education. The events and projects planned in the coming months promise to further strengthen the community and create new opportunities for everyone.
