City hall temporarily unavailable: Telecom problem causes chaos
The town hall and the building yard in Aurach have no longer been accessible to citizens since Wednesday, October 30, 2024. This also applies to offices, authorities and business partners. The reason for the disruption is that Telekom assigned the telephone number 09804 91540 twice. Since then, the employees have not been reachable by phone or online via email. Access to work programs and websites is also not possible.
Telekom has been working on fixing the problem since Wednesday. However, so far there have been no successes. In this difficult situation, no newsletter with current dates or reviews can be published. Those responsible ask citizens to contact them personally on site in urgent cases. “We regret this nuisance and ask for your understanding.”
Update of the situation
In the last few minutes the problem seems to have been solved. The employees are now trying to process the outstanding cases as quickly as possible. Citizens can again contact the town hall and the building yard.
