75,000 euros for small projects: ILE Altmühlland A6 region starts in 2025

The ILE Altmühlland A6 region plans to participate in the “Regional Budget for Small Projects” program in 2025. This program is offered by the Bavarian State Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Tourism. The implementation is carried out by the Office for Rural Development of Middle Franconia.

Funding for the region

A maximum of 75,000 euros will be available for the region in 2025. The ten municipalities of Arberg, Aurach, Bechhofen an der Heide, Burgoberbach, Burk, Dentlein am Forst, Dombühl, Herrieden, Leutershausen and Wieseth can benefit from these funds. Applications can be submitted by municipalities, public institutions, clubs, associations, private and voluntary initiatives and companies.

Small projects with net costs between 500 euros and 20,000 euros can be funded. The maximum grant is 80 percent of the net project costs, but a maximum of 10,000 euros. Project sponsors must cover their own contribution of 20 percent of the net costs as well as the sales tax themselves.

Application and deadlines

The application is submitted via the State Ministry website. Anyone interested can find all the information they need there. The projects are evaluated and selected by a decision-making committee. This committee is made up of representatives from regional actors and evaluates the applications based on published criteria.

It is important that the project must not yet begin at the time the application is submitted. Implementation can only start after the project has been approved. The project must be completed by October 1, 2025 at the latest. All documents must be submitted to the ILE by this date.

The funding requests must be received by the implementation support department by November 21, 2024 at the latest. Further information can be found on the Hesselberg region website. There is also a leaflet on how to carry out small projects.
