On November 25, 2025, the traditional anniversary celebration of the city of Sulzbach-Rosenberg took place in the “Zum Wulfen” inn in Kauerhof. This celebratory event serves to honor employees who have served the city for 25 or 40 years and was led this year by the second mayor Günter Koller and the chairwoman of the staff council Marina Haberkorn.

A look back at past events

In advance of the anniversary celebration, there were already important events in Sulzbach-Rosenberg. The open day took place on April 11, 2025 at the Amberg-Sulzbach State Building Authority to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the castle. The move into the castle dates back to March 30, 2000. The renovation of the historic building took seven years and cost around 30 million marks. A celebration of this anniversary took place on May 17, 2025, which offered numerous attractions.
