The daycare center's barbecue festival was enthusiastic - support was sought for the support association!

The support association of the Sulzbach-Rosenberg special education support center started the new daycare year with a lively barbecue on September 19th. The event, which was organized primarily for the children of the “An der Point” daycare center, offered bratwurst rolls and drinks and was very popular among the parents, grandparents and relatives in attendance. The visits from Mayor Stefan Frank and his wife, who supported the association's initiative, were particularly welcome.

The board, represented by Alexander Balzer and EB member Patrick Grun, came up with various campaigns to recruit members. This included, among other things, a wheel of fortune that the children could spin. Successful participants received attractive prizes, which further brightened the mood of the event. The “An der Point” daycare center is grateful for the support of the support association, which is planning many important events this year.

The support association of the Sulzbach-Rosenberg Special Education Support Center e. V. sees its role not only in organizing events, but also in providing financial and moral support for children with special needs. The funding offered includes grants for school trips, theater visits, school camp stays, play and sports equipment and musical instruments. These measures are intended to promote learning, language and social-emotional development in particular.

A central concern of the association is to gain more public attention for the institution and to recruit new members. Cooperation with the school management and their support levels are of great importance. The support association invites interested parents and supporters to actively participate and help, be it through non-material, personal or financial support.
