Juicy and fresh: Mobile fruit press is coming to Ensdorf on October 7th!

On Tuesday, October 7th, 2025, the “juice pressing” campaign will take place in Ensdorf. As rieden.com reports, citizens can hand in the fruit they have picked themselves in the town hall building yard from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The mobile fruit press from the Fuchs Mosterei will be on site that day and will produce freshly pressed, long-lasting juice from the apples or pears you bring with you.

The filling takes place directly into bag-in-box containers with sizes of 3, 5 or 10 liters. Registration by email is desired. Anyone interested should send their name, telephone number, estimated amount of fruit and desired bag size to zen@zen-ensdorf.de. As suro.city adds, participants will be notified by phone as soon as the juice is ready. The waiting time during pressing is approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

Details about fruit acceptance

Fruit collection takes place at the Ensdorf town hall, which acts as the central location. Citizens are welcome to bring their fruit, preferably apples or pears. The mobile juicer offers an efficient way to convert the fruit into tasty juice. The juice is processed and bottled directly on site without any additives, as streuobst-zentrum.at explains.

Prices and contact information

A fee of 7 euros per 5 liters of juice in bag-in-box containers is charged for processing. Those interested in additional bottling pay 1 euro per liter of juice. You can bring your own bottles, but they must be clean. Unpasteurized juice to be used for must or vinegar costs only 50 cents per liter, although this requires your own container.

The contact person for further information is Martin Kopp, climate protection coordinator for the Amberg-Sulzbach district. He can be reached on 0157 / 82475424 and will be happy to answer any questions about the campaign and juicing.
