Honorable awards for long-standing fire department heroes in Ebermannsdorf

In a recent ceremony, firefighters from the community of Ebermannsdorf were honored for their many years of service. Eight dedicated members of the volunteer fire brigades received the state medal of honor in gold and silver, an award that stands for their tireless commitment. These firefighters have worked voluntarily and without financial compensation for the safety of their fellow citizens for 25 or 40 years.

In his speech, District Administrator Richard Reisinger praised the exemplary efforts of the firefighters. “Your commitment is remarkable and deserves the highest respect,” he said and presented the awards together with district fire chief Christof Strobl. The ceremony took place in a celebratory setting that underlined the importance of volunteering in the fire department.

Dear firefighters

The awards were presented to the following fire department members: Thomas Pirzer from the Ebermannsdorf fire department and Thomas Fasoldt, Christian Schmid and Matthias Wirth from the Pittersberg fire department received the silver medal of honor for 25 years of active service. Carola Reindl, Uwe Bäuml and Cornelia Bäuml from the Diebis fire department were also honored for their many years of service.

Christian Boßle was awarded the Gold Medal of Honor by the Pittersberg Fire Department for 40 years of active service. These awards are not only a recognition of individual achievement, but also a sign of appreciation for the entire fire service community, which stands ready around the clock to help in emergencies.

Firefighters are an indispensable part of society, and their willingness to help in difficult times is an example of the spirit of volunteerism. The event was photographed by Martina Beierl to document the special moments of this important day.
