The ILE Oberpfälzer Alb is looking for active support and has currently published an advertisement for the position of regional manager (m/f/d). This part-time position is limited to five years, with the possibility of contract extension. The future office will probably be in Illschwang, although mobile working is also permitted. The position requires complex tasks that are to be implemented within the framework of the Integrated Rural Development Concept (ILEK). The main tasks include the implementation of a wide variety of projects, the coordination of content with the chairman and the steering group and the development of strategies to activate regional actors.

In addition, the regional manager is expected to take over the coordination between the ILE municipalities, measure providers and relevant bodies. Another focus is on evaluating and continuing existing projects as well as acquiring funding. Public relations and marketing are also among the central tasks of the new position.

Qualifications sought

The requirements for applicants are high. An academic degree in regional management, geography or a comparable field is required. Expertise in project management, regional development and local government work is also an advantage. Practical experience in stakeholder participation and public relations are also important. Flexibility and good communication skills are required. A car driving license and the willingness to use your private vehicle for business trips are also necessary. The remuneration is based on pay group 11 of the TVöD, depending on the qualifications of the applicants.
