Diversions and changes: B300 closure affects AVV bus routes
The B300 between Friedberg and Oberzell will be closed for construction work in the near future, which will result in some changes to bus traffic. The city administration has now announced the diversions for the affected AVV regional bus routes in order to provide passengers with the best possible information.
The construction work is scheduled for the period from September 16th to October 4th, 2024. During this time, lines 203, 204 and 209 will be affected by the changes. The city asks all passengers to pay attention to the construction timetables, as departure times may occasionally change. Current information can be found on the Augsburger Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund GmbH (AVV) website: www.avv-augsburg.de.
Details about the affected lines
During the first construction phase, which will last from September 16th to probably September 24th, lines 200, 202, 203, 204, 209 and 210 will be affected. In the second construction phase, which is expected to take place from September 25th to October 4th, 2024, lines 200, 202, 203, 204 and 209 will be rerouted again, while line 210 can be served regularly again.
There are the following changes for AVV line 203: In the direction of Dasing, the Friedberg Am Haferfeld, Oberzell and Dasing Rettenberger Straße stops cannot be served. Instead, the Rothenbergstrasse stop in Friedberg is offered as a replacement. In the opposite direction, the Friedberg Festplatz, Friedberg Am Haferfeld, Oberzell and Dasing Rettenberger Straße stops are affected, with the Hermann-Löns-Straße stop in Friedberg serving as a replacement.
On AVV line 204, the stops Friedberg Am Haferfeld, Oberzell, Dasing Rettenberger Straße and Dasing Abzw. Bahnhof are affected. For Dasing, Abzw. Bahnhof, the Dasing, Wessiszeller Straße stop is served as a replacement, while in Friedberg the Rothenbergstraße stop is available. The same restrictions apply in the opposite direction.
AVV line 209 has similar limitations. In the direction of Dasing, the stops Friedberg Am Haferfeld, Oberzell, Dasing Rettenberger Straße and Dasing Abzw. Bahnhof cannot be reached. Here too, the Dasing, Wessiszeller Straße stop is offered as a replacement, while the Rothenbergstraße stop in Friedberg is served. The same stops are affected in the opposite direction.
