Helping shape Bavaria: Citizen dialogues for a strong community
The Bavarian State Ministry of Finance and Homeland has launched an exciting initiative called “Heimatdialog.Bayern”. This platform aims to actively involve citizens in the dialogue about important social issues. The central question at stake here is: How can we strengthen cohesion in our society? It's about improving communication between politics, administration and the population in order to create a better understanding of each other.
Another important aspect of the local dialogue is the preservation of Bavarian traditions and values. In a time when society is constantly changing, it is crucial that we keep our cultural roots alive. The initiative offers citizens the opportunity to contribute their ideas and suggestions in order to find solutions together to meet the challenges of demographic change.
Regional citizen dialogues and digital participation
Citizens have the opportunity to take part in four regional citizen dialogues taking place in different cities. These events are an excellent opportunity to talk directly to those responsible in politics and administration. The dialogues take place on the following dates:
- 1. Oktober 2024: Stadthalle Memmingen, Platz der Deutschen Einheit 1, 87700 Memmingen, von 18:00 bis ca. 21:00 Uhr
- 12. November 2024: Harmoniesäle Bamberg, Schillerplatz 7, 96047 Bamberg, von 18:00 bis ca. 21:00 Uhr
- 20. Februar 2025: Stadtsäle Bernlochner Landshut, Ländtorplatz 2-5, 84028 Landshut, von 18:00 bis ca. 21:00 Uhr
- 13. März 2025: marinaforum Regensburg, Johanna-Dachs-Straße 46, 93055 Regensburg, von 18:00 bis ca. 21:00 Uhr
For those who cannot participate in person, there is also the option to participate digitally in surveys and online dialogues. This platform offers a valuable opportunity to actively participate in shaping the future of Bavaria and to contribute your own voice.
