In order to accommodate citizens, special times are reserved for spontaneous interviews every day from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and on Mondays and Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Digital services and direct shipping
A further step towards digitalization is taken by offering online applications. For example, citizens can apply for the mandatory exchange of their old driving license or an international driving license completely digitally. The district office plans to further expand the digital offering in the future so that more and more services will be available online.
It is also recommended to use direct delivery of a new driving license. This is possible for various applications, such as the mandatory exchange of an old paper driving license or the initial issuance of accompanied driving class B. If this is indicated when filling out the application, the new driving license can be delivered directly to your home for a small fee. This eliminates the need to appear in person at the district office.
