The Upper Palatinate comedy “Hundslinger Wedding” is coming to the cinema. Viewers can experience the film in cinemas from January 16, 2025. After filming in the summer of 2023 and the subsequent post-production, the time has now come. A turbulent competition between two village inns causes intrigue and entanglements - and many a surprise. Premiere in Tirschenreuth

The Upper Palatinate premiere will take place on January 15, 2025 in Tirschenreuth. A Bayern premiere will follow on January 21, 2025 in Munich. The creation of the film “Hundslinger Wedding” is a joint production by professionals from the television and feature film world. Supporters are four municipalities from the Tirschenreuth district. Participants come from the Upper Palatinate districts of Tirschenreuth, Neustadt and Weiden. Extras from the entire region and other participants from Bavaria and all of Germany up to Hamburg and Berlin are also involved.

Filming locations and involvement

The endearing feature film comedy (FSK 6) was mainly shot in Friedenfels and Tirschenreuth. Filming also took place in Wiesau and Waldsassen. producerChristina Baumerhas its roots in Wiesau. With her debut film she wants to prove that “film is also possible in the countryside and doesn’t always have to come from metropolises like Munich”. She found around 100 comrades-in-arms for this proof. They contributed to the film with an incredible amount of voluntary commitment and enthusiasm.
