Tirschenreuth Fire Brigade Youth: Entry in the city's Golden Book
The Tirschenreuth Fire Brigade Youth has once again reached a remarkable milestone. At a celebratory event on Saturday evening, the group was honored for their outstanding achievements in the youth fire service. Mayor Franz Stahl presented the young firefighters with an entry in the city's Golden Book, an award that represents their dedicated work and successes.
In the presence of Second Mayor Peter Gold, Commander Matthias Haulena and many proud parents, the honor was a special moment. Mayor Stahl praised the young people for their tireless volunteer work, which not only strengthens the fire department but also the entire community. “Your commitment is invaluable because you ensure that citizens can count on our fire department in emergency situations,” he emphasized.
Successes of the fire brigade youth
The Tirschenreuth Fire Brigade Youth has had an impressive track record in recent years. The chronology of their successes in the national competition shows that they won the title of German runner-up in 2005, followed by a championship title in 2007. In the following years they were also able to place among the best teams several times, including third place in 2019 and 2022 and another runner-up title in 2024.
The group photo taken after the ceremony shows the proud faces of the young firefighters along with their trainers and the mayor. This honor is not only a recognition of their past achievements, but also a motivation for the future to continue to work hard and commit to the safety of the community.
