Mushroom expedition in Mähring: Become a mushroom expert!

Nature is calling and the mushrooms are waiting to be discovered! As part of the popular Stiftland Days, IKom Stiftland is organizing an exciting mushroom hike in the community of Mähring. This event offers the opportunity to get to know the fascinating world of mushrooms better and to become a “mushroom” expert yourself.

Under the expert guidance of mushroom expert Stefan Niclas, participants can explore the different types of mushrooms in their natural environment. The hike begins at the meeting point in Griesbach, where participants are directed to a nearby parking lot. From there the journey of discovery into the local flora begins.

Important information about the event

Participants should bring a few things with them for the mushroom hike: a basket, a magnifying glass and a knife are essential for transporting the collected finds and taking a closer look. Sturdy shoes are also required to get through the terrain safely.

The new date for the event is October 2nd, 2024, at 3 p.m. The hike lasts about two hours, so there is enough time to discover the different mushrooms and learn more about their properties.

The meeting point for the participants is the forestry department in Griesbach, address: Griesbach 51, 95695 Mähring. To take part in the event, a fee of 10 euros per person is charged.
