Invitation to the open community get-together: Together for the seniors
The municipality of Mähring cordially invites all interested citizens to a special meeting. On Monday, September 16, 2024, at 6:30 p.m., an “open community get-together” will take place in the OWV home in Griesbach. District manager Karin Achatz will lead the event and is looking forward to numerous participants.
The meeting offers an excellent opportunity to talk about current topics in a relaxed atmosphere. The focus is particularly on the needs and wishes of seniors in the community. The organizers want to ensure that the voices of all age groups are heard and therefore invite citizens of all ages to actively participate.
An exciting program
As part of the Bavarian Dementia Week there will be a short lecture entitled “Creativity knows no illness”. This talk aims to demonstrate how important creative activities are for wellbeing, particularly for people with dementia. The event promises to be both informative and inspiring.
Anyone looking for stimulating conversations and a sociable evening is welcome. In the future, the “Open Community Get-together” will take place alternately in the municipalities of Großkonreuth, Griesbach and Mähring, so that all citizens have the opportunity to take part.
