On Sunday, September 1st, the city forester invites all nature lovers to an exciting hike through the picturesque “Herrenholz”. This event not only promises fresh air and exercise, but also interesting insights into the local flora and fauna.
The hike begins at 1 p.m. at the forest kindergarten, an ideal starting point for little adventurers and their families. From there the path leads to the “Future Forest” and further to the “School Forest”. At these stations, the city forester will provide exciting information and explanations about the respective forest areas. It's a great opportunity to learn more about the importance of forests to our environment.
Hike with rest
After the informative stops, we continue to the Anzensteinhütte, where we take a short break. Here participants can enjoy nature and strengthen themselves before heading back. The entire hike takes about two hours, making it a perfect excursion for families with children.
