Hiking weeks 2024: Discover the Upper Palatinate Lake District!

This year, the Upper Palatinate Lake District hiking weeks start with an exciting tour in Neunburg vorm Wald. Under the motto “What’s going on in the moss?” Hiking enthusiasts have the opportunity to explore the “Prackendorfer and Kulzer Moos” nature reserve together with an experienced guide. This event is the start of a total of eight guided hikes that lead through the picturesque landscapes of the Upper Palatinate Lake District and are suitable for all age groups.

The hiking weeks offer a variety of experiences, ranging from exciting tours through impressive natural landscapes to family-friendly activities. Participants can look forward to informative journeys of discovery where they will learn interesting facts about the region and its unique features. These events are not only an opportunity to enjoy nature, but also to learn more about the local flora and fauna.

For anyone who would like to find out more about the various hikes, the tourism offices of the participating towns and communities as well as the Upper Palatinate Lake District Tourist Information Office are available to provide information. Registration for the hikes has been possible since August 24, 2024. Anyone interested can register at www.oberpfaelzer-seenland.de and view the complete program of the hiking weeks.
