Deutsche Bahn invites all interested citizens to a digital theme evening that deals with the important topic of traction current. The webcast, which was specially designed for the regions of Upper Franconia and Upper Palatinate, will take place on September 18, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. This event offers an excellent opportunity to find out more about the planned developments in traction power supply.
In this online event, Deutsche Bahn will provide information about a possible traction power route that runs through several municipalities. These include Schnabelwaid, Creußen, Prebitz, Kirchenthumbach, Vorbach, Speichersdorf, Immenreuth, Kulmain, Neusorg, Pullenreuth, Waldershof, Marktredwitz and Pechbrunn. In addition, an alternative route variant is presented that affects the communities of Schwandorf, Wackersdorf, Bodenwöhr, Schwarzenfeld, Stulln, Schwarzach and Neunburg vorm Wald.

The event will begin with a short lecture in which experts will explain the current status of planning for traction power supply.
