ADFC tour guide training 2025: Become a cycling guide in the Upper Palatinate Forest!
Guided bike tours are very popular. The tour guides play a crucial role in this. They lead the groups in an entertaining, competent and safe manner. That's why the Upper Palatinate Forest Tourism Center is planning ADFC tour guide training. This will take place in cooperation with the Upper Palatinate Lake District Association in spring 2025.
Training details
The “ADFC TourGuide” training is intended for cycling enthusiasts. It will take place from April 4th to April 6th, 2025. The course starts on Friday afternoon and ends on Sunday lunchtime. The venue is the Upper Palatinate Forest Tourism Center in Nabburg. Participants need a roadworthy bicycle and must have completed a first aid course. An ADFC trainer will lead the training. The cost is 100.00 euros per person. The Upper Palatinate Forest Tourism Association will cover the remaining costs if the tour guide commits to offering at least four guided bike tours in the 2025/2026 season.
First aid course
Before training begins, a first aid course will take place on February 10, 2025. This course is a prerequisite for participation in tour guide training. The personal contribution for the first aid course is 15 euros.
