Free training for nursing volunteers on October 16th

Nowadays, supporting people in need of care is more important than ever. Anyone who cares for someone who has at least care level 1 now has the opportunity to register with the Department for Dementia and Care. This makes it possible to bill the person concerned's nursing care insurance for the hours worked. An important step to reduce the financial burden on caring relatives.

In order to receive this support, free training is required. This training consists of eight teaching units and is aimed at anyone who does not yet have a specific nursing qualification. The training provides valuable information and skills necessary for caring for people in need of care.

Training details

The next training will take place on October 16, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the meeting room of the Schwandorf District Office. This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to volunteer. Those interested can contact us by phone at (09431/471-675) or on-line register.

A flyer is available for more information about the training and volunteer opportunities for individuals. This contains all the important details and can be requested from the Department for Dementia and Care. Anyone interested in the training should not hesitate to register to secure a place.

The initiative aims to involve more people in care and improve the quality of care. The training not only prepares participants for their tasks, but also gives them the opportunity to interact with other volunteers and share experiences. This not only promotes personal development, but also a sense of community among the helpers.
