Michaela Joppien has now taken on the role of second vice-principal at the Hans Scholl Primary School. Mayor Thomas Gesche, managing director Wolfgang Weiß and treasurer Elke Frieser were present at a celebratory welcome to congratulate her. They also took the opportunity to look at the school's new extension, which was recently completed.
With the start of the new school year, the primary school management team will be strengthened by Michaela Joppien. She will work together with Rector Ingrid Donaubauer and the incumbent Deputy Rector Manuela Amann-Viehbacher, who has been in office since 2023. Joppien brings with her an impressive 24 years of experience at Hans Scholl Elementary School, making her a valuable addition to the team. Rector Donaubauer said she was positive about the collaboration, as Joppien knows the school's structures and processes well.
Extension of the primary school
Another reason to be pleased is the successful completion of the primary school extension, a significant step forward for the educational institution in Burglengenfeld. During the tour, Mayor Gesche emphasized that this building was an important step for the future of the students. The new rooms are not only modern, but also functional, which delights teachers, parents and students. “The school itself is beautiful; we feel very comfortable,” said Joppien, emphasizing the positive atmosphere.
There are currently 612 students attending the Hans Scholl Elementary School, who are taught in 25 classes. Mayor Gesche wished the new vice-principal an exciting and successful time at the school, while the entire school community looks forward to working with Joppien.
