Diverse KiW events: music and creativity in winter 2024/2025
A series of events will start in November 2024 in the Bürgersaal and the youth club in Wörth. The series includes various musical and creative events suitable for different age groups. The events offer a mix of music, workshops and concerts.
String Wind – Rhythmic String Music
Saitenwind's concert will take place in the Bürgersaal on November 10, 2024 at 5 p.m. Admission costs 9.00 euros in advance and 10.00 euros at the box office. Saitenwind presents rhythmic string music that deviates from the usual zither clichés. The zithers are designed in high-gloss red and green. Three zither players experiment with their instruments and bring along guitar, double bass and percussion. “Other strings” is the motto, showing that the zither can do more than just folk music. In addition to boorics and polkas, there are also soulful ballads and lively rhythms from various musical genres.
Creative videos with green screen and AI
A workshop will take place in the youth club on November 20, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fee is 10.00 euros. Young people aged 12 and over can get to know the possibilities of artificial intelligence and video technology here. They playfully learn how to use generative image tools and create short, funny video scenes. Registration is via email to Nadine.Bauer@landratsamt-regensburg.de. This event is organized jointly by various organizations.
Advent concert with duet complete
On December 8, 2024 at 7 p.m. there will be an Advent concert with a complete duet in the Bürgersaal. Admission costs 13.00 euros in advance and 15.00 euros at the box office. The group presents atmospheric songs of autumn and winter, Christmas and friendship. The performance is thoughtful, contemplative, humorous and funny. The musicians areDagmar DengelandWalter Heigl.
New Year's concert with Romy Börner Quartet
The New Year's concert will take place on January 1, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. in the Bürgersaal. Admission costs 16.00 euros in advance and 18.00 euros at the box office.Romy Börnerand their musicians present the most famous hits and evergreens of the 1920s. “The Golden 20s” are unforgettable, characterized by Charleston, jazz, swing and tango. The cast consists ofRomy Börner(Singing),Oliver Hien(violin, viola),Norbert Ziegler(piano) andMarkus Fritsch(Double bass).
Kultbriada – AustroPop from Lower Bavaria
The group Kultbriada will perform in the Bürgersaal on February 8, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. Admission costs 17.00 euros in advance and 18.00 euros at the box office. The musiciansCarlos SteinbeisserandPaul Karmannbring AustroPop classics authentically to the stage. Their program includes well-known songs by STS, Wolfgang Ambros and Rainhard Fendrich. The two thoroughbred musicians are known for their rousing performances and promise a lot of fun.
