CSU Strong Beer Festival: An evening full of humor and music in Wiesent!

On February 28, 2026, the CSU local association Wiesent invites you to the traditional strong beer festival in the Schützenheim. This event, which starts at 7:19 p.m. and opens at 6:00 p.m., promises to be an entertaining and sociable get-together for the entire population of Wiesent and the surrounding area. A special highlight of the evening will be the humorous appearance of Brother Barnabas, who will provide witty comments on current political and social events.

The Schützenheim, located at Bahnhofstraße 19 in Wiesent, will be festively decorated for the occasion and offers space for numerous guests. A musical theater, in which local celebrities also take part, also creates an atmosphere. The musical accompaniment is in the hands of the Kerscher musicians, who are known for presenting a wide repertoire of rousing melodies.

Delicious strong beer and raffle

Of course, physical well-being is not neglected either: strong beer is served from the renowned Karmelite brewery in Straubing. The catering is provided by the Edelweiss shooters, who provide a culinary offering. There will also be a raffle with a prize draw, the proceeds of which will be donated to a charitable organization, making the evening not only entertaining but also socially responsible.

The organizers emphasize that a place reservation is only possible for clubs by sending an email to hermann.leiderer@r-kom.net, while everyone else is warmly invited to come by without registering in advance.
