ILE Vorderer Bavarian Forest: Apply now for the 2025 regional budget!

The ILE Vorderer Bavarian Forest is again applying for the “regional budget”. Interested project sponsors can submit their funding requests by January 20, 2025. The applications must be submitted to the ILE office with the necessary documents. The funding is approved by the Office for Rural Development.

Funding for 2025

In the years 2021 to 2024, around 350,000 euros flowed into the region. In 2024, around 14 projects were able to receive funding. For 2025, around 75,000 euros in funding are now available for small regional projects.

Examination and selection of projects

Every project submitted by the deadline will be checked for eligibility. An independent selection committee then evaluates the projects according to defined criteria. The projects that qualify for funding are selected based on the number of points achieved. Small projects are funded with up to 80% of the total costs, but a maximum of 7,500 euros. The total volume of the measure must not exceed 20,000 euros. The projects must be implemented and billed by the end of September 2025. In addition, the implementation of the project must not have started yet. In terms of content, the projects must fit into the Integrated Rural Development Concept (ILEK). The small projects aim to secure and further develop rural areas as living, working, recreational and natural areas.
