General conditions for air rifle shooting

According to the requirements of the German Rifle Association, official competitions such as the village championships require shooting with special air rifles. These rifles use cold gases, primarily compressed air, to fire bullets with a maximum muzzle energy of 7.5 joules. The target is 10 meters away from the shooter and the highest precision is required as the diameter of the ten is only 0.5 mm. The shooter may wear special shooting clothing to achieve the best possible performance.

The Adlerseige Tegernheim would like to thank all participants and supporters of the event and congratulate the successful air rifle shooters. The lively participation and great enthusiasm show that shooting sports continue to have an important tradition in Tegernheim. Further information about the shooting sport and the disciplines can be found on the website of the German Shooting Association.
